Applicant needs to be fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English) and unencumbered. Applicant must be well spoken and of Sober habits. Drivers Licence required.Please note that this is physical work. In the Hospitality industry there are no Long Weekends and Christmas Holidays therefore we are looking at a Single person with no Dependents. Included in the salary package is basic SINGLE staff accommodation and meals on days worked. Own transport is advisable because of our remote location. We are situated 45km from Swellendam on the Breede River (of which most is gravel road). Interviews on the premises is essential, NO online interviews.Job Spec will include but not limited to:Hotel Maintenance: Upkeep of Gardens, Swimming pool, Buildings. You must be able to change a geyser, fix leaks on water pipes, change light fittings and other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth operation of the company. We are at a very remote location and therefore have to make a plan if something goes, we do keep a lot of spares on the premises.Houseboat Maintenance: SKIPPERS LICENCE REQUIRED. You will also be required to maintain these boats in a good condition and be able to fix/replace small mechanical parts, work with Fiberglass.
