Purpose of the RoleTo safely transport heavy equipment and machinery between sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to road safety regulations.Key Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited ToOperating a heavy-duty tilt tray truck to load, secure, transport and offload industrial equipmentConducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects or maintenance requirementsEnsuring compliance with all road safety and company operational proceduresCompleting accurate trip sheets, delivery notes and related documentationAssisting with loading/unloading and recovery operations when requiredMaintaining the truck and equipment in a clean, safe and operational conditionCriteriaValid South African Code EC (14) drivers licence with valid PDPForklift Operator licenceProven experience of at least 5 years driving heavy-duty trucks (8-ton or similar) Strong knowledge of load securing and safe transportation practicesGood driving record and track historySober habits and high reliabilityAbility to work independently and follow instructions
