Creation and verification of technical documentation within SolidWorks and following PLM system.

This role involves enhancing design specifications and documentation, as well as overseeing collaborations with multiple automation suppliers to maintain consistent design standards across all projects. You will be key in making design decisions related to component selection, processes, and software solutions, and will manage organisational tasks and project workflows. Additionally, your role will involve hands-on testing at production facilities. In supporting service engineers, you will manage electrical rebuilds and provide remote support, with occasional travel abroad for on-site electrical and software adjustments at client locations. Travel is expected to range between twenty to thirty percent, with a mix of international and domestic engagements. The technical environment makes use of state-of-the-art control platforms such as Siemens S7/TIA, Allen Bradley, and Scada systems. The ideal candidate will possess a BEng degree in Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience in electrical and software design within industrial automation, with a strong preference for expertise in Siemens S7/TIA Portal. Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Scada systems is also advantageous. We are looking for a team-oriented, adaptable individual who is customer-focused.
