HGV Driver – South Africa (Employment in Ireland)Lee Strand is an established Irish dairy company seeking professional, reliable and customer-focused HGV drivers to join our team in County Kerry, Ireland.Licence & ExperienceApplicants must hold a valid South African Code 14 licence.Applicants with strong Code 10 delivery-driving experience are also encouraged to apply if they now hold a valid Code 14 licence and have:Excellent delivery-driving experience.Strong customer-service or sales experience.Confidence dealing directly with customers.A professional attitude and good communication skills.Experience in dairy, food, beverage, refrigerated distribution or FMCG is an advantage.The RoleResponsibilities include:Delivering fresh dairy products to customers.Operating HGVs safely and professionally.Providing excellent customer service.Promoting Lee Strand products and identifying sales opportunities.Taking customer orders.Loading, unloading and securing deliveries.Completing vehicle checks and delivery documentation.Complying with Irish road-safety and driving-hours regulations.Maintaining company vehicles to a high standard.Early morning starts, weekend work and manual handling are required.Essential RequirementsApplicants must have:Valid South African Code 14 licence.Recent commercial delivery-driving experience (Code 10 or Code 14).Strong customer-service and communication skills.Previous sales or route-sales experience.Good spoken and written English.Clean or satisfactory driving record.Verifiable employment references.Valid South African passport.Ability to pass medical, licence and background checks.Willingness to relocate to County Kerry, Ireland.Willingness to complete the Irish licence exchange and Driver CPC requirements.Employment PackageSuccessful candidates will receive:Permanent full-time employment.Salary from €36,605 per year.Overtime where applicable.Sales bonus.Food/lunch allowance.Employment Permit sponsorship (subject to Irish Government approval).Assistance with licence verification, Irish licence exchange and Driver CPC.Relocation guidance.Full induction, product and route training.Ideal CandidateYou are a safe, reliable and organised driver who enjoys working with customers, recognises sales opportunities and is looking to build a long-term career in Ireland.How to ApplyEmail the following to tmoodley@leestrand.ie:Current CV.Motivation letter.Details of driving experience.Summary of sales/customer-service experience.Contact details for two employment references.Copy of the front and back of your Code 14 licence.Subject: South Africa HGV Driver Application – [Your Full Name]Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
