Driving & Transport (Forklift Driver): • Transport bobbins and raw material to production floor / area • Transportation, storage and/or stacking of: • Pallets • Finished goods • Strip Steel • Rod • Flat Wire • Ensure that correct storage and stacking methods / standards are followed at all times. No pallets are to be stacked against each other • Assist with stock counts / stock take of raw material from time to time • Correspond the bobbin report of the bobbin prior to the transportation of the bobbin • Transportation of raw material • Loading /offloading of trucks at plant and load stock into relevant store/s • Assist with the loading of containers • Report any quality discrepancy / problem of material / productions loaded / transported • Assist other departments with ad hoc forklift driving and transport duties as required • Report any incident / accident immediately to operations foreman / senior manager • Ensure safe operation / driving methods of forklift on plant • Follow all rules and regulations with relations and operation methods as forklift driver • Adhere to H & S regulations of plant, with relation to a forklift driver • Ensure consistent and correct use of PPE in plant at all times, • Take extreme precaution when operating the forklift at plants, roads and/or surrounding areas Applying for Position: Only open to South African citizens.
