 Duties and Responsibilities:Warehouse Management: Operations Oversight: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving activities.Implement and enforce best practices for warehouse processes, including inventory accuracy and order processing efficiency.Staff Management: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.Ensure staff are properly trained in warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.Safety and Compliance: Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Conduct safety training, enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and manage emergency procedures. Facilities Management: Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, including HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance.Facility Upkeep: Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and in good repair.Manage janitorial services and coordinate regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.Space Utilization: Optimize the layout and use of warehouse space to improve workflow and storage efficiency.Plan and manage facility layout changes or expansions as needed.Compliance and Regulations: Ensure facility operations comply with environmental regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.Maintain necessary documentation and records related to facility management. Administrative Duties: Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for warehouse operations and facility maintenance.Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse and facility performance, including inventory levels, maintenance activities, and staff performance.Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and contractors.Negotiate contracts and ensure service levels meet company standards.Â

Identify project timing and ensure this is maintained.
