We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our
workshop operations in Durbanville. You will be responsible for
overseeing the full manufacturing operation, including production
planning, quality control, people management, health and safety compliance,
efficient resource management, machinery oversight, and cost control. This role
ensures that products are manufactured efficiently, safely, on time and to the
required quality standards, while driving continuous improvement and supporting
business growth.
Key Responsibilities
§
Plan, schedule and manage daily and
weekly production to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
§
Lead and manage a workshop team consisting
of supervisors, carpenters, machinists, finishers, and assembly staff.
§
Implement lean manufacturing
principles, workflow optimisation, and cost control.
§
Ensure compliance with health, safety
and environmental regulations.

Oversee machinery usage, preventative
maintenance and minimisation of downtime.

production techniques.
§ Experience with CNC machinery, assembly processes, finishing, and quality
control.
§ Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and production budgets.
§ Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
§ Sound knowledge of health and safety, and regulatory standards in
manufacturing environments.
§ Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
§ Diploma/degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field is
preferred.
