Job Title: Civil Structural TechnicianDepartment: Engineering / Construction Reports To: Civil Engineer / Project Manager Patterson Grade: C3 – C5 (depending on experience and scope) Estimated Monthly Salary (South Africa): R22,000 – R38,000Job Purpose:To assist civil and structural engineers in the design, drafting, inspection, and supervision of construction projects. Senior Structural Draughtsperson REPORTS TO: Department Manager or any other person appointed to supervise him/her from time to time PRIMARY POSITION PURPOSE: This position is responsible for performing technical tasks in building and engineered structures draughting and production fields. For technical tasks usually reports to a technical director or project leader.
