Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) LtdRegistration No. 2022/876857/07 Duties & ResponsibilitiesApply safety in the workplace according to procedures.Selection and use of trade and plant specific PPE according to safety procedures.Perform pre inspections on all task related tools and equipmentSelect the correct tools for the tasks.Make use of hand tools such as: Hand File, Hacksaw blades, Steel wire brush and LED torch.Perform welding as per specifications including but not limited to GTAW, SMAW etc.Perform welding with equipment such as welding torch, inverter, gas cylinders, welding cables and clamps.Understanding of WPS and perform specialized welding such as stainless steel, chrome molly and carbon steel.Understand different grade/types of material and its welding procedure.Select the right welding consumable as per material grade and WPS.Perform tasks and meet the clients integrity and company quality standards.Maintain a repair rate below 5 percent.Identify and repair welding defects detected visually or by NDE.Knowledge of DSTI/Pre-task assessments.Follow task risk assessments.Interpret and apply welding procedures.Experience & Qualification:Grade 10Trade/Red Seal Welding CertificationAt least 3 years trade experienceGood communication skills in EnglishAbility to read and understand ISO drawings and welding symbolsProof of track recordPhysically fit for duty relating to the roleQualified in specialised procedures e.g. cold service, aluminium, tube to tube steel, small bore etc is advantageousTeam communicationKnowledge of Permit to Work ProceduresAdditional InformationOnly applicants who meet the requirements outlined above will be considered.If you do not hear from us within 14 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.If you meet the above requirements, please submit your application, including your CV, qualifications / certificates, service certificates and a copy of your ID.
