Employer DescriptionElectronics manufacturing.Job DescriptionYour duties will encompass:Daily material requirements planning, including consumables, to ensure timely supplier orders.Follow-up on purchase orders to prevent missed or incorrect deliveries.Engage suppliers on new product lines and source alternatives when needed.Maintain accurate supplier account details (credit limits, contacts, emails).Place purchase orders based on shop and sales orders from production.Regular stock checks with Stores Administrator to align system and physical inventory.Create new inventory codes for purchased items.Source suppliers for obsolete items in collaboration with EPS and Production Procurement via Teams.Plan and arrange driver schedules for supplier collections and special deliveries.Assist with export shipments when required.Support picking shop and sales orders, including issuing/transfers on the system.Help with packaging for collection or delivery of invoiced items.Provide cover for Stores Administrator or Receiving/Dispatch Clerk during absences, ensuring continuity of duties.Commitment to attend training as required.Qualificationshttps://www.jobplacements.com/Jobs/P/PAM-18036-Procurement-Officer-Manufacturing--Rood-1269745-Job-Search-4-10-2026-4-46-29-AM.asp?sid=gumtree

Qualifications:Grade 12 (Matric)Diploma or Certificate in Transport Management or Logistics (advantageous) Experience & Requirements:Proficient in English and AfrikaansMinimum 5 years experience in fleet control or transport operationsAt least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacityProven experience working with tautliner fleets (essential)Strong operational, hands-on approach with the ability to manage day-to-day fleet activities effectivelyAmbitious with potential for advancementSolid knowledge of fleet tracking systems and transport management systemsStrong understanding of transport legislation and complianceProficiency in Microsoft Excel and reportingMechanical knowledge of heavy commercial vehicles (advantageous) Important notes:Own reliable transport (no motorbikes) (essential)Stable personal life.High-pressure operational environmentAfter-hours availabilityOffice-based.After-hours availability - This is not an 8:00 to 17:00 job. This job requires extended or irregular hours.Experience must be from a Freight and Logistics company.No experience with buses, 3-ton, or 5-ton trucks will be considered.Preference given to candidates with mining experience.
