SLD (Single-Line Diagram) Electrical Engineer

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 2â??5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering (preferably LV/MV systems).
  • Proven experience preparing and interpreting single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Experience in renewable energy and industrial systems/solar.
Technical Skills:
  • Solar experience/development (essential)
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Knowledge of electrical analysis tools (ETAP, DigSilent PowerFactory, PVSyst, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of SANS/IEC standards, protection principles, and electrical system design.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and optimise Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) for LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, load schedules, and cable layouts.
