Responsibility:Requirements:
• Call suppliers that need to quote for body/cab repairs and arrange quoting times so that all parties are present at the same time for workshop manager to go through the repairs that is required for a vehicle
• Communicate with the respective customer (contracts/operations) notifying them when there is an issue with supplier or a delay from workshop
• Request for RA’s for previous night’s breakdowns before 8am
• Email vehicle defect report to customers for vehicles that have come into SR workshop for any repair/service
• Hand over process
• Credit applications (new suppliers)
• Ensure completion of report (s) for audit purposes
• Ensure all supplier invoices are received within agreed times

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: NQF 7 (Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma) qualification Operations Management or Transportation Management.Minimum of 5-7 years experience in Operations or Transportation Management of which 4 years experience at management/supervisory level.Heavy Duty Motor Vehicle Drivers License & Proficiency in MS OfficeExperience in management of large-scale transport operations which include contracted servicesKnowledge of fare evasion and ticketing systems as well as LRAHighly developed communication skills, both written and verbalExtensive knowledge of transport operations, principles and practices.Knowledge of labour and employee relations techniques and procedures. The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Operations Manage / control depot; checking area daily; evaluate driver behaviour; regular route and road checks; review route reports; determine fares and fare grids; update schedules and rosters; monitor functionality of ticketing systemsVehicle maintenance servicing / preventative maintenance of vehicles; report road conditions to local governmentHealth & Safety oversee H&S audits; ensure adherence to road traffic regulations and passenger safety; reviewing of vehicles roadworthyContracted services and service development adherence to private hire targets and SLAsStakeholder management productive relationships with stakeholders; prioritize communicationReporting concise reporting; operational plan reports; oversight to the development of reports / policies / proceduresFinancial / risk management identify / manage project risk and maintain project plan; quarterly and annual reportingPeople management training subordinates; management staff performance; implement people management practices; manage staff morale Salary: R1 043 628.00 per annum CTC
