Applicants are required to strictly meet the following criteria: Information Technology related degree/diploma (At least 3 years tertiary qualification)At least 8-10 years experience in software solutions analysis, design and development with the relevant technologies.Must have staff management experience and team leadership skillsWorking knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), jQuery, jQuery-UI, SQL (MySQL/MariaDB) and exposure to Bootstrap, Linux OS and API technologiesApplication Lifecycle Management skillsGood oral and written communication skills The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Design and DevelopWork with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specificationsDesign, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements and technical programming standardsDevelop system specifications and interfacesLead coding teams and managed productivity and performanceImplement and/or maintainCreate operational documentation for applicationsProvide primary support for installation of application releases into productionMaintain applications according to SLAs or other business requirementsConduct project risks and issues management (status reporting, issue reporting for assigned scope of work)TestPartner with the testing team to ensure applications/components are fully functionalFix any defects or performance problems discovered in testingWork across the Business UnitsWork across the business units on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applicationsAnalyse, design, build, and/or test new components or enhancements to existing modulesManages small to medium teams and/or work effortsRequires understanding of the strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goalsProvide technical expertise and guidance to production support staff Salary: R40 000 R50 000 per month negotiable, based on experience
