Key Responsibilities:BI Testing and Quality Assurance Design and execute test plans and test cases for ETL processes, data integration workflows, data marts, and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI).Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target BI systems.Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing on BIsolutions and data pipelines.Identify data quality issues and inconsistencies, log defects, and track them through to resolution.Validate the correctness of business logic applied in BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.Collaboration and Documentation Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and expected outcomes.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) where applicable.Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test cases, test results, defect logs, and sign-off reports.Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support for end-user validation where required.Tools and Platforms - the BI Testers must be proficient in working with the following technologies and environments: Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL for querying and test script development.SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for testing ETL workflows and data transformation logic.Power BI for verifying visuals, data accuracy, and report logic.Data Marts for schema validation and data consistency testing.Reporting and Communication Provide regular testing status updates, risk assessments, and defect summaries to the company BI project team.Participate in progress meetings, testing reviews, and provide input into project timelines and delivery readiness. Requirements:Must have a computer science/ information systems/ statistics or mathematics diploma or degree and Business Intelligence or Data Testing related certifications (i.e. Azure Data Engineer Associate, Data Analyst Associate (Power BI), SQL Server Database Development, Administration ETL, Certified Agile Tester (CAT)) as well as a minimum of eight years experience in a Tester role in a data and BI environment, with experience as follows:A minimum of ten years experience in T-SQL (Transact-SQL) for data validation, query development, and test scripting.A minimum of six years experience testing SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) andETL processes, including validating data pipelines and transformation logic.A minimum of four years experience testing and verifying Power BI dashboards and reports.A minimum of four years experience wo
