Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (e.g., Technical) to enhance overall operational efficiency. Supervise third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual agreements. Assist in tracking, managing, and controlling logistics and warehousing costs. Assist in continuously assessing and optimising, warehousing and distribution models to improve service and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or unique challenges related to transportation, logistics systems, or customer needs, including cost/benefit analysis to inform decision-making. Assist with negotiating pricing and service levels with storage and transport providers to maximize value. Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure high levels of service and responsiveness to their needs. Stay informed of and ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations impacting logistics and warehousing operations. Oversee accurate system input, scanning, and allocation of stock. Ensure finished goods inventory is accurately tracked in both the system and physically. Maintain warehouse organisation, including the accuracy of stock locations for both raw materials and finished goods. Perform regular reconciliations to ensure physical and system stock are aligned. Ensure accurate and proper documentation and up-to-date filing for all dispatched stock. Ensure all warehouse and logistics processing are conducted accurately. Ensure adherence on 24 hours turn around time on issuing materials on the system.
