We are a growing and dynamic business operating 5 retail
butcheries, a wholesale division, and 2 restaurants across the Western Cape. We
are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Quality Control Manager to ensure
the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and compliance across
all operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and enforce quality control standards
across all retail, wholesale, and restaurant operations
·
Implement, monitor, and maintain food safety
systems (HACCP and related standards)
·
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and
compliance checks
·
Ensure all products meet regulatory and internal
quality standards
·
Manage product traceability, shelf-life control,
and cold chain integrity
·
Train and support staff on food safety, hygiene,
and quality standards
·
Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer
complaints, and non-conformances
·
Liaise with suppliers to ensure raw material
quality meets required specifications
·
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on
quality and compliance
Minimum Requirements:

5–10 years’ experience in the retail and
wholesale meat industry

Proven experience in food safety systems (OHASA, HACCP,

Experience managing quality across multiple
sites is highly advantageous
