This role sits at the heart of Group Finance, working closely with senior stakeholders and business units.Key Responsibilities:Lead the monthly Group consolidation process, including inter-company eliminations and reconciliationsPrepare and deliver the monthly Group reporting pack for executive reviewEnsure consistency across subsidiaries through maintenance of the Group chart of accountsManage inter-company balances, including loans, interest, and management fee recoveriesSupport statutory reporting, including annual financial statements and interim resultsDraft technical accounting papers in line with IFRS standards (e.g. IFRS 15 & 16)Assist with year-end audits, including the preparation of audit files and supporting schedulesSupport treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and payment oversightOversee financial administration of the property division, including rental income, expenses, and collectionsWhat Were Looking For:BCom Honours (Accounting) or CTA essentialNewly qualified CA(SA) or AGA(SA) highly advantageous24 years experience in a financial accounting or audit environmentExposure to multi-entity structures or mid to large audit firms preferredStrong IFRS knowledge and advanced Excel skillsExperience with consolidation tools (e.g. CaseWare) is beneficialKey Competencies:Strong analytical ability with a keen eye for detailAble to work under pressure and meet tight month-end deadlinesConfident communicator, able to engage effectively across business units
