Implement an annual engagement survey and develop strategic action plans for critical problem areas with monitoring. Drive a strong learning culture via various training initiatives and leadership development. Keep breast of changes and best practice in skills development. Stay updated on labour legislative changes affecting the company and employees. Ensure relevant IR cases are dealt with swiftly with minimal risk to business. Provide oversight of general remuneration ensuring payroll and all related remuneration issues are working effectively. Ensure the overall HR team is motivated and supporting the business effectively and efficiently to contribute to business objectives.Experience and Qualifications: Tertiary Qualification in HR, Psychology or related field. Possess a solid understanding of complex HR and business issues. Have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to build key relationships within the business. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills. Growth-focused, goal-oriented individual. Able and willing to lead from the front, getting hands-on as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A diplomatic and professional approach to conflict.
