The main focus areas involve technical tyre maintenance, team supervision, inventory control, and compliance with safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise tyre fitting and maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles with a minimum of 35 years of experience.Conduct and supervise tyre inspections, repairs, re-treading, rotations, balancing, and replacements.Lead, mentor, and supervise the tyre team and technicians while allocating daily tasks.Manage tyre inventory, including new tyres, casings, repaired tyres, and usage history records.Conduct tyre checks on trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other fleet vehicles.Enforce health and safety standards, OHS, RTMS, and legal requirements within the workshop.Submit daily, weekly, and monthly tyre usage and performance reports.Attend to after-hours emergency breakdowns when the standby team cannot resolve the issue.
