As an Armored Vehicle Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, and development of armored vehicle systems. This includes ballistic protection integration, structural modifications, suspension upgrades, and system compatibility with modern combat and security requirements.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop armored vehicle components, systems, and full platforms using CAD and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, and ANSYS).Apply engineering principles to integrate ballistic and blast protection materials without compromising vehicle performance or safety.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and testing to ensure that designs are production-ready.Perform structural analysis and FEA to validate durability, survivability, and weight distribution.Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and support prototype builds and field testing.Stay up-to-date with industry standards (STANAG, VPAM, NIJ, etc.) and regulatory compliance.Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).Experience in armored vehicle design or related defense/automotive industries.Proficiency in 3D CAD design and engineering simulation software.Strong understanding of materials used in ballistic protection (steel, composites, ceramics, etc.).Knowledge of military standards and protection levels.Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
