Project Engineer - Water Industry

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engineering projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring that all technical, safety, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities across the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases of water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare project documentation, including specifications, risk assessments, schedules, and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure that project objectives are met.
• Oversee technical design reviews, equipment selection, and quality control processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and health & safety policies.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning stages.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree (BEng / BSc) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 35 years experience in project engineering within the water, wastewater, or utilities sectors.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, pumping systems, and distribution networks.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and working with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project and Primavera) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
