Exploration Geologist

Our company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Exploration Geologist to work with our dynamic and fully remote team. This role is pivotal in identifying and evaluating new mineral prospects globally, with a strong focus on South African resources. You will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including the planning and execution of exploration programs, data acquisition and interpretation (geochemical, geophysical, drilling), geological mapping, structural analysis, and the preparation of technical reports. This role demands a proactive approach to risk assessment and mitigation, effective communication with stakeholders. Extensive travel for site visits may be required periodically, but the core of your work will be conducted from your remote location. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about discovery, possess excellent analytical skills, and can work autonomously with minimal supervision. A Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field is essential, with a Master's or PhD being highly advantageous. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in mineral exploration is required. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and database management systems is crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must, and fluency in other relevant languages is a plus.
