Duties: Build, implement, and sustain revenue management strategies to maximise occupancy across all periods, with particular focus on shoulder and low-demand dates, conversion optimisation and length-of-stay managementLead pricing, inventory, and distribution strategy across all channelsUse ADR as a supporting lever in service of occupancy and total revenueUnlock demand through intelligent pricing, packaging, and value-added offersLead the Reservations Department, ensuring strong conversion and service standardsProduce clear, insightful revenue reporting, forecasting, and analysisCollaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to drive demand and optimise performanceWork with website and distribution partners to optimise direct bookingsMaintain and evolve SOPs for reservations and revenue processesEnsure guest experience remains central to all commercial decisions Requirements: Grade 12A formal hospitality qualificationMinimum 23 years experience in a Revenue Manager role within a hotel or luxury hospitality environmentStrong working knowledge of revenue and reservations systems (e.g. Protel, SynXis, Atomize and/or similar)Demonstrated experience in building occupancy, not only managing rateStrong analytical capability combined with sound commercial judgementConfident communicator, able to work cross-functionallyOccupancy-led, with strong commercial instinctConfident balancing data, intuition, and a deep understanding of hospitality revenue strategiesComfortable taking ownership and accountabilityCollaborative, grounded, and solutions-focusedAble to view the hotel as a living business, not merely a set of numbersMust reside locally in Somerset West / the Winelands (or be willing to relocate immediately at own cost)
