Minimum Requirements - Artisan Qualification or Diploma or Degree - Fitter and Turner or a Millwright- Valid drivers license- Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment for the effective commissioning and condition monitoring of pumps.- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role or department (pumps)Role overview The main objective will be to ensure that all existing and new customers receive appropriate technical support in order to maximise product operating efficiency and customer satisfactionDuties will include- Regular work in harsh, confined, or underground mining environments.- Safety Compliance:- Mandatory PPE during site visits.- QMS Business Manual compiled in compliance to ISO 9001: up to date.- At all times maintain safety standards set by the relevant customer and the Company- Use correct safety equipment as and when required- Observe all mine health and safety regulations- Ability to undertake long-distance travel and accommodate variable working hours.- Exposure to factory environments and occasional handling of heavy materials.- Non-smoking workplace.- Overtime, weekend work, irregular hours, and travel may be required.Physical Requirements- This job is physically demanding which would require lifting of heavy objects, standing for long periods of time, do tasks with few breaks.- Ability to navigate factory and workshop environments safely and effectively.- Capability to conduct underground site visits and/ or work, in full compliance with mine safety protocols.- Capacity to perform extended periods of computer-based reporting and system-related tasks.
