Employment Type: Contract About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing procurement processes, coordinating tender submissions, and ensuring compliance within the government procurement environment.Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the full tendering process from initiation to submission.
Prepare, review, and evaluate RFQs (Requests for Quotations) and tender documents.
Liaise with suppliers and service providers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure compliance.
Ensure adherence to government procurement regulations and policies.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Monitor contract performance and supplier delivery timelines.
Support internal departments with procurement planning and sourcing requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the procurement environment.
Sound knowledge of the tendering environment, particularly within the government sector.
Proven experience working with RFQs and tender documentation.
Familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Computer literate (MS Office Suite essential).
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (advantageous).
Willingness to work long hours and weekends when required.

• Experience troubleshooting remote desktop, hardware, software, and network issues. • Understanding of cloud-based systems and data management. • Knowledge of cybersecurity awareness (phishing, passwords, endpoint security). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to document systems, procedures, and user support materials. • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. • Professional, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Teddy Bear Foundation -
Krugersdorp & Soweto Branches
A CLINICAL Psychologist who specialises in Forensic preparation
and court hearings on sexual abuse is required to service the Soweto and
Krugersdorp Branches of the Foundation. Although working with abused children,
the focus is on victims who are classified as children due to intellectually
disability.
The position’s main focus is as follows:
a.
Perform for the court, an assessment for
intellectual disability - whether a victim is competent to testify; and
b.
Provide expert testimony in court.
No therapy is performed by the appointed psychologist. The Branches make
referrals in such cases.
Assignments embrace:
1.1
Provision of
psychological assessments to adult and teenage rape and abuse victims whose
cognitive abilities are in question. These assessments are for their court
cases and reports will be provided to either the Investigating Officer or the
prosecutor in the case.
1.2
The appearance in
court, when/where required by the law, on behalf of the TBF; and
1.3
The generation of
reports (within four weeks) of each assessed victim.
