You will be responsible for innovating robust mechanical systems, detailed CAD modelling, structural design, and supporting prototype development through testing and validation to meet defence industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of mechanical systems and structural components for armoured vehicles, including chassis, suspension, drivetrain, and integrated armour solutions.Create and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or Inventor.Perform mechanical calculations (strength, fatigue, vibration, optimization) and design analysis to ensure performance and compliance.Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and design reviews throughout the product lifecycle.Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and product integrity.Ensure designs comply with defence standards, safety requirements and customer specifications.Minimum Requirementsâ??
