Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute mechanical engineering design for petrochemical and process plant projects
  • Develop and review mechanical design documentation, specifications, and calculations
  • Support project teams with technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle (concept through to commissioning)
  • Oversee equipment selection, sizing, and integration within plant systems
  • Ensure that designs comply with the applicable engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, including process, electrical, and project engineering

Minimum Requirements:
  • BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years experience in petrochemical or process plant design
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in petrochemical facilities
  • Experience with engineering standards, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Proven experience working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
