This lodge is in the unfenced wilderness forming part of the Greater Kruger, known for its low vehicle density and authentic, uncrowded safari experience. It is suited to a hands-on couple with a strong background in lodge management, offering a seamless blend of guest experience, operational efficiency, and team leadership. The ideal couple will complement each others skill sets, ensuring all aspects of lodge operations are managed to the highest standard.Candidate Responsibilities:Oversee the full daily operations of the lodge, ensuring a high-end guest experienceManage front of house, guest relations, and hosting dutiesSupervise and support all departments, maintaining operational standardsOversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management across departmentsManage food & beverage service, ensuring quality and consistencyTake responsibility for basic maintenance oversight and coordinationLead, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive team cultureEnsure compliance with health, safety, and lodge policiesHandle administrative duties, reporting, and budgeting alongside ownershipCore Criteria:Proven experience as a lodge management couple within a luxury or boutique safari environmentStrong combined skill set across operations, including stock management, F&B service, and maintenanceExcellent guest relations and hosting abilitiesStrong leadership and staff management skillsGood administrative and organisational capabilitiesAbility to work independently and problem-solve in a remote environmentHigh attention to detail and commitment to service excellenceValid drivers licences and relevant certifications This is a live-in position.Unfortunately, children cannot be accommodated but a pet can be considered.
