VECTOR COEGA (PORT ELIZABETH)
A vacancy for an Access guard exists at Vector COEGA
The responsibilities include:
·
Report
directly to the General Supervisor
·
Report
all incidents in applicable OB book and to the General Supervisor
·
Assist
in apprehending unauthorized persons on the client’s premises.
·
Assist
supervisor and management in securing the client’s assets in accordance with
the contractual requirement of the client.
·
Monitor
and report any breach in security i.e., fire, theft etc.
·
Patrols,
Access, and Egress
Requirements and experience:
·
Ability
to read and write.
·
Knowledge
of or ability to acquire radio procedure.
·
Registered
and D-graded with PSIRA.
·
Ability
to interact at all levels within the company as well as the client.
·
Good communication
skills, with the ability to work in a team.
·
Ability
to work under pressure and independently.
·
Willing
to work night shift.
·
Good
work record

A Site guard/handy man has a dual role in managing site operations and ensuring the security and safety of the premises.Your scope of work and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Monitor and control access to the site, checking credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel.Continuously observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.Take necessary actions to maintain security and safety, including contacting law enforcement or emergency services if required.Conduct regular patrols of the site to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.Maintain detailed incident reports and records of security-related activities.Oversee and operate site-specific equipment, such as gate systems, alarms.Ensuring the site is always clean and well maintained.Assist with cleaning and general maintenanceMaintaining on site security.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of security proceduresStrong communication skills.You have excellent communication skills in English ( in-person, hand-written or electronically)Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.Basic knowledge of emergency response.Customer service experience is a plus.You live in close proximity to the areas advertisedExperience in security, handy man , or a related field is often preferred.We give preference to candidates residing in the Durban CBD and Durban north areas.Need to start in Jan 2024. installation company operating nationwide. BlackOps Security Solutions offers a

POSITION:
BlackOps Security Solutions requires a committed, hardworking, and
motivated individuals to join our team of technicians as a CCTV installer. Successful
incumbent primary purpose will be installation of CCTV, Electric Fence, Access
Control, Gate Motor and adhering to client’s SOPs.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Includes, but is not limited to the following:
·
Installation of CCTV, access control, alarm systems and turnstiles.
·
Installation of perimeter security fence.
·
Conduct maintenance and repairs on CCTV, access control, alarms,
and turnstiles
·
Upon completion of full installation, handover must be completed
with the client/customer.
REQUIERMENTS
·
Minimum Grade 12
·
Valid driver's license
·
PSIRA registered. (Added advantage)
·
Residing within Cape Metrolpole
·
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a CCTV/Security Technician
·
Strong knowledge & experience in installing CCTV and Security
devices.
·
Strong knowledge of Alarm, CCTV, Electric Fence, Access Control,
Gate Motors.
·
Networking background highly advantageous.
·
Good communication skills.
·
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software will be advantageous.
·
Self-motivated strive to succeed.
·
Ability to meet targets & deadlines.
·
Be available for call out.
·
Maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, and
contractors.
EXPERIENCE IN
THE FOLLOWING WILL BE HIGHLY ADVANTEGOUS
Access control installation, troubleshooting and repairs.
Alarm system installation and repairs (Paradox, DSC, IDS, Texecom,
Caddx, Ajax & other major brands)
Electric fence installation and repairs.
CCTV (IP and analogue including cabling, installation, setup,
programming, & troubleshooting), all major brands.
