Job Description:Defining project scope and selecting technology, including creating a Process Design Basis.Developing Process and Utility Flow Diagrams, with associated mass and energy balance calculations.Creating Process and Utility Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and managing related design tasks.Specifying process attributes for equipment, instruments, and valves, and preparing relevant datasheets.Writing Process Descriptions and Control Philosophies.Compiling essential lists (e.g., Line List, Equipment List, Instrument Schedule, Valve Schedules).Collaborating with engineers from other disciplines to ensure designs meet process requirements and find solutionsSkills & Experience: Minimum 8 10 years of experienceMeticulous attention to detailDesign and run Process projects in petrochemical/mining/water and wastewater treatment industriesProficient in MS Projects and MS OfficeQualification:Bachelors degree in Chemical EngineeringPREng/PRTech AdvantageousKnowledge and application of OHSA Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
