Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and returnsLead, manage, and develop warehouse teams, team leaders, drivers, and support staffDrive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control across all warehouse activitiesEnsure accurate stock control, FIFO principles, and regular stock counts and stock takesOversee dispatch, route planning, loading, and delivery coordinationEnsure compliance with SOPs, food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and company policiesMonitor performance metrics including order accuracy, turnaround times, backorders, and lossesInvestigate stock variances, damages, and operational issues, implementing corrective actionsManage vehicle operations including maintenance, licensing, cleanliness, and driver complianceDrive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational changes where requiredEnsure accurate reporting, record-keeping, and communication with management and internal departmentsRequirements:Proven experience in a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar senior warehouse leadership roleStrong background in food manufacturing, FMCG, or high-volume distribution environmentsSolid understanding of stock control, dispatch, route planning, and warehouse systemsStrong people management and leadership skillsExcellent organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilityAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detail and operational discipline
