They provide immediate tactical responses to security threats, often serving as a, powerful, visible deterrent to criminals. Key requirements typically include valid PSIRA registration, firearm competency certificates, and rigorous background checks. Core Responsibilities and DutiesImmediate Response: Providing swift action to neutralize or contain threats until law enforcement arrives.Asset & Personnel Protection: Escorting high-value goods, cash, and safeguarding individuals in high-risk environments.Patrol and Surveillance: Conducting regular, visible patrols to deter criminal activity, monitoring premises, and controlling access for people and vehicles.Reporting: Submitting detailed reports on daily surveillance,, security incidents, and, suspicious behavior.
