Bayteck Fire requires the services of a Junior Accountant to be based in Midrand, Gauteng.
Requirements:

· Matric (Umalusi Certificate to be attached)

· Associated Tertiary Qualification would be beneficial.

· Pastel knowledge is essential.

· Bookkeeping Qualification

· Minimum of 1 year’s sound experience in Bookkeeping

· Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word

· MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!!

The role will involve (but not limited to) the following responsibilities:

· Debtors

· Cash book

· Journal entries

· Client invoices

· Monthly reconciliations

· Expense analysis

· Full bookkeeping function to trial balance

· Creditors reconciliation and payments

· Processing and payments of fees

· VAT reconciliation

· General ledger postings

· Bank reconciliations

· Dealing with auditors

A fantastic opportunity is now open for an individual wishing to build a career in this dynamic company in the lighting, electrical, solar and security sector. Technical knowledge regarding lighting, electrical and solar products is essential. The role is responsible to communicate and drive daily operations of the branch and ensure its alignment to company goals. The role would drive all people related issues, customer service, sales, stock and management within the branch.

The role will:

• Manage, lead, motivate, develop and empower branch employees

• Drive sales targets and manage operational efficiencies in order to maintain a healthy, profitable business.

• Ensure excellent customer service by playing an active role in customer contact situations - thereby ensuring and maintaining healthy customer relationships.

• Manage as well as control financial targets within company accepted norms and balance this against business risk.

• Maintain and improve customer service, sales performance, stock efficiencies

• Ensure Stock loss is minimized through compliance with security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.

• Ensure administrative duties within the store are in accordance with company guidelines.

• Guide, manage and verify operations within the Branch to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory legislations.

• People Management - training, mentoring, coaching and management of staff within the store.

Branch Manager Job Duties:

• Organizing and executing training programs for branch personnel

• Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed

• Developing and implementing sales plans

• Conducting regular sales and operations meetings

• Briefing employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant information

• Organizing marketing activities and events for the branch

• Increasing brand awareness for the company within the community

• Interacting with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback

• Resolving customer problems as needed

• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the industry

• Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities

• Drafting forecasts and business plans

• Managing budgets, allocating branch funds, and defining financial objectives

• Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, or achieve goals

• Adhering to high ethical and professional standards

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL AND SOLAR SECTORS AS WELL AS 2 YEARS RETAIL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE.

Working Monday - Saturday

Salary: R12000 - 15000 per month
