Draughtsman (Structural & Mechanical)

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years practical experience using Autodesk Inventor
• Proven competence in Inventor, including:
  
  • Frame Generator
  • 3D Modelling and Assemblies
  • Fabrication and manufacturing detailing
  • Drawing layouts and drawing office standards
• Ability to interpret design inputs and translate them into accurate models and drawings
• Sound understanding of structural and civil components used in industrial environments

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 3D models and detailed drawings in line with project specifications
• Prepare workshop and fabrication drawings for issue
• Apply drawing office standards, including revision control
• Participate in design coordination discussions as required
• Support site measurement verification and as-built documentation where necessary

Advantageous Experience

• Exposure to industrial or mining projects
• Site measurement experience
• Basic project scheduling awareness (MS Project exposure advantageous)

Contract & Package Details

• Fixed-term, project-based contract
• Salary: Market-related, dependent on experience (indicative range R20,000 R30,000 CTC)
• Paid leave included
• Based in Rustenburg
