Job
Purpose
The Warehouse
Manager is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of warehouse
operations, ensuring stock integrity, timely dispatch of orders, and proper
documentation. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to
detail, and effective record keeping.
Key Duties
& Responsibilities
Duties include, but
are not limited to:
•
Oversee
container offloading, ensuring accurate counting and verification of cartons
against shipping documentation
•
Supervise
and participate in receiving of stock and correct placement within the
warehouse
•
Prepare
and manage invoicing related to warehouse dispatch and stock movements
•
Coordinate
and manage the dispatch of orders, including:
•
Preparing
cartons for despatch
•
Creating
accurate carton manifests
•
Ensuring
orders are packed correctly and on time
•
Conduct
regular spot checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
•
Investigate
and resolve stock discrepancies
•
Maintain
clear, accurate, and up-to-date warehouse records and documentation
•
Ensure
adherence to warehouse procedures, health and safety standards, and company
policies
•
Liaise
with internal departments (sales, finance, logistics) to ensure smooth
operations
•
Manage
and support warehouse staff where applicable
