The successful candidate will be hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced with preventative maintenance and complex mechanical repairs.Bethal - Living location OnlyKey ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and other commercial vehiclesPerform preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs) in line with manufacturer and legal standardsRepair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, suspension, and steering systemsConduct electrical and electronic fault-findingInspect vehicles for roadworthiness and safety complianceComplete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records accuratelyEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsRespond to breakdowns and emergency repairs when requiredLiaise with workshop supervisors, fleet managers, and parts departmentsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean workshop environmentMinimum RequirementsRed Seal Trade Certificate (Truck / Diesel Mechanic) – EssentialProven experience working on heavy-duty commercial vehiclesS
