Please note that your job duties and requirements may include, but are not limited to: Industry Background: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a large format print environment.Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience operating wide-format printers (e.g., UV-curable, Latex, Solvent, or Aqueous printers like HP Scitex, Epson, or Mimaki).Software Skills: High proficiency in RIP software (such as Onyx, Caldera, or Fiery) and a solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) for file preparation.Substrate Knowledge: Deep understanding of various materials, including vinyl (adhesive and scrim), foam core, PVC/Sintra, aluminum composites (Dibond), and acrylics.Color Accuracy: Expertise in color theory and the ability to perform color matching across different media types and printing technologies.Finishing Familiarity: Basic knowledge of large format finishing tools, such as flatbed cutters (Zünd, Kongsberg), laminators, and grommet machines.Pre-Flighting: Ability to scale artwork correctly without losing resolution and an understanding of bleed/trim requirements for 3D signage.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for an entire shift and move/lift heavy rolls of media or rigid sheets (up to 50 lbs).Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for catching micro-defects, banding, or color shifts that occur during long print runs.Work Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced production shop where deadlines are firm and multitasking is required.Preferred (Bonus) QualificationsExperience with Vehicle Wrap printing and preparation.Knowledge of 3D Lettering or CNC routing basics.Formal certification in Color Management (e.g., G7 certification) Minimum Qualification:-Matric/ Grade 12 Preferred Qualification:- National Certificate/Diploma in Printing Management
