The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, identifying non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement in the production process.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Inspection & Quality ControlConduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections on engineering components.Inspect machined parts, fabricated items, welded assemblies, and finished products according to drawings and specifications.Perform dimensional checks using precision measuring equipment.Verify product compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, and relevant standards.Use of Measuring InstrumentsOperate and interpret readings from measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, etc.Ensure measuring tools are calibrated and used correctly.Documentation & ReportingComplete inspection reports and quality check sheets accurately.Record and report all non-conformances and deviations.Maintain traceability records where required.Assist with compiling quality documentation packs for clients.Non-Conformance ControlIdentify and isolate non-conforming products.Raise NCRs and assist with corrective actions.Support root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.Standards, Compliance & Continuous ImprovementEnsure work complies with ISO standards.Assist with improving inspection processes and production quality.CollaborationWork closely with production teams, welders, fitters, machinists, and supervisors.Provide feedback to production on quality issues and prevention measures.Liaise with engineering and management regarding quality requirements.Minimum Qualifications & Experience:M
