Description
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF 4 qualification
- 35 years sales experience with exposure to the full sales process
- Experience in B2B sales (franchise, retail, or distribution environment advantageous)
- Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Pastel Evolution or similar ERP system advantageous)
- Knowledge of construction, tooling, or equipment hire industry will count strongly in your favour.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees (our clients), developing a deep understanding of their business needs and opportunities
- Manage the full internal sales process, from enquiry to after-sales follow-up
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Provide informed advice and solutions that align with franchise requirements
- Collaborate with external sales and operations teams to ensure aligned sales strategies
- Manage order processing, quotations, stock requirements, and related administration
- Track sales performance, analyse data and trends, and report insights to management

About the Role
My client, VCB is seeking a high-performing Sales Executive with
a minimum of 10 years’ sales experience to drive partner product sales and
the growth of AI-enabled solutions across African markets.
This is a commission-only role suited to a
strategic, self-driven sales professional who understands that AI is not a
standalone product, but a catalyst for business transformation. You will
identify opportunities, craft solution-driven narratives, and support clients
in adopting AI applications that solve real-world challenges across sectors
including healthcare, agriculture, government, energy, logistics, and financial
services.
