This requires as a minimum to have experience in drafting fire plans according to SANS 10400-T and the associated supporting SANS codes, as well as interfacing with the fire departments during the approval process.Performance Based Designs (Rational Designs) require an in depth understanding of fire engineering. It is important to understand the concept of Rational Design (not only as a tick box exercise, but in depth understanding required).
