KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the day-to-day operations of a Montessori Elementary classroom environment for learners aged 612 years.Observe, guide and assist learners within both Lower Elementary (ages 69 | Grade 13 equivalent) and Upper Elementary (ages 912 | Grade 46 equivalent) learning environments.Assist in the preparation, organisation and maintenance of Montessori learning materials and the prepared classroom environment.Encourage and support learners in developing independence, curiosity and critical thinking through child-led learning experiences.Work collaboratively with experienced educators and benefit from ongoing mentorship and guidance.Provide support during classroom activities, learning presentations and learner supervision where required.Engage in continuous professional development and training to deepen understanding of Montessori educational practices.Contribute positively to the classroom culture and the broader school community by fostering a respectful and supportive learning environment.REQUIREMENTS:Qualification: BEd (Foundation Phase or Intermediate Phase) or PGCE.Availability: Able to commit to the programme from April 2026 September 2027.Experience: Previous experience working with children aged 612 years (Montessori exposure advantageous).Registration: Valid SACE registration.Compliance: Valid police clearance certificate.Educational Approach: Interest in child-led learning and Montessori principles.
