Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end monthly payroll process.Process new appointments, terminations, leave, overtime, incentives, and payroll adjustments.Administer Time & Attendance and monitor absenteeism.Ensure payroll information is accurate and up to date.Process medical aid additions, terminations, and reconciliations.Prepare payroll reconciliations, statutory submissions, and management reports.Generate payroll reports, including PAYE and third-party payments.Assist with month-end payroll reporting and payroll journals.Resolve payroll-related queries efficiently.Maintain accurate employee records and support HR administration.Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.Liaise with Finance, HR, and management to ensure payroll deadlines are met.Minimum RequirementsMinimum 5 years experience in an end-to-end Payroll Officer role.Previous payroll experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and statutory compliance.Experience working with payroll systems (Accsys experience will be advantageous).Experience with Time & Attendance systems.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.HR administration experience will be advantageous.
