ROLE OVERVIEW
The Procurement & Materials Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end
ordering, tracking, and management of all building materials required for active
construction projects. This role requires a proactive, organised individual who can liaise
with suppliers, raise accurate purchase orders, and ensure that materials are delivered
to site on time and within budget. The successful candidate may also be required to
collect and deliver stock and materials as operational needs dictate.
ADVANTAGEOUS
Prior experience in a procurement or buying role within a construction, civil engineering,
or infrastructure company.
Familiarity with CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) processes and
contractor grading requirements.
Experience working with hardware suppliers, steel merchants, or building material
wholesalers.
Knowledge of site safety regulations and materials handling protocols (OHSA
compliance).
