The position requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability, combined with accurate digital job tracking and reporting. The successful candidate will manage repairs from start to finish while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair roleDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair workshop and machining equipmentPerform mechanical and electrical fault-findingConduct preventative maintenance on equipmentTest and ensure equipment meets required quality standardsCapture and manage job cards, repair reports and parts usage on the computer systemMaintain accurate repair and maintenance recordsEnsure workshop safety and compliance standards are metAbout YouMinimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair roleRed Seal or Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical fieldStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsProficient with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipmentComputer literate with experience using maintenance or repairs systemsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety
