The Role: Workshop & Equipment Repair Technician
This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining workshop and machining equipment to ensure operational reliability. The position requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability, combined with accurate digital job tracking and reporting. The successful candidate will manage repairs from start to finish while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair role

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair workshop and machining equipment

• Perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment

• Test and ensure equipment meets required quality standards

• Capture and manage job cards, repair reports and parts usage on the computer system

• Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records

• Ensure workshop safety and compliance standards are met

About You

• Minimum 5 years experience in a workshop or equipment repair role

• Red Seal or Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical field

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment

• Computer literate with experience using maintenance or repairs systems

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
