The successful candidate will play a key role in managing month-end reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and the overall integrity of the financial records.Working closely with management and operational teams, you will contribute to the financial stability and ongoing success of the business while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingManage the full accounting function up to Trial Balance.Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with accounting principles.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules.Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.Month-End & ReconciliationsPerform month-end and year-end accounting procedures.Prepare and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.Investigate and resolve reconciling items and accounting discrepancies.Ensure all accounts are accurately reconciled and supported.Accounts Payable & ReceivableOversee creditor and debtor processes to ensure accurate and timely processing.Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections where required.Ensure supplier payments are processed in accordance with company policies and approved payment cycles.Cash Flow & Treasury SupportAssist with cash flow management and forecasting.Monitor daily cash positions and support working capital management initiatives.Provide visibility into cash requirements and operational funding needs.Compliance & AuditPrepare VAT reconciliations and assist with statutory submissions.Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements.Assist with annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.Maintain accurate supporting documentation and audit trails.Budgeting & Financial AnalysisAssist with budgeting and forecasting processes.Perform costing analysis and monitor expenditure trends.Support management with financ
