Our client is a rapidly growing FMCG and retail business based in Centurion. As the company scales, theyre looking for a Finance & Operations Manager who can help bridge the gap between finance, operations, stock, customers and future technology initiatives. The business still has a number of manual processes, creating a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving and implementing smarter ways of working. This role will suit someone who is equally comfortable analysing sales data in Excel as they are walking through a warehouse to understand operational challenges firsthand. Youll be the type of person who doesnt just report on what happened, youll help shape what happens next.Key Responsibilities:Manage the full Order-to-Purchase (O2P) processSupport clients and manage customer relationshipsOversee stock, inventory and warehouse controlsAnalyse sales performance and business trendsProduce meaningful reports and operational insightsSupport warehouse quality control and process complianceIdentify and implement process improvements and efficienciesAssist with automation projects and systems enhancementsTranslate data into actionable business recommendationsPartner with operational teams to improve performance and profitabilityJob Experience and Skills Required:BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field3+ years experience in a Finance & Operations, Commercial Finance, Operations Analyst or similar roleExperience within FMCG, retail, wholesale, distribution, supply chain industriesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and reporting capabilityExperience with process improvement and systems implementationExposure to automation, AI tools, or digital transformation initiatives advantageousStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working both strategically and operationallyWho Will Thrive Here?Someone who enjoys solving operational problemsSomeone who can tell a story with numbersSomeone who doesnt mind rolling up their sleeves and spending time in the warehouse when neededSomeone who sees manual processes as opportunities, not frustrationsSomeone who enjoys building, improving and making businesses betterIf youre looking for a role where finance leaves the office and becomes part of the operation, this could be your next move!
