Duties and responsibilities:Understand pump technologies, fluid mechanics, and hydraulic systems.Size and select pumps based on system requirements.Read and interpret technical drawings, spares lists, P&IDs, and schematics.Use pump software such as Pedrollo and Zenit.Apply knowledge of mechanical seals, motors, and variable frequency drives.Negotiate, present, and close sales effectively.Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.Provide strong customer service and resolve problems.Conduct market research and competitor analysis.Manage sales processes and negotiate contracts.Work under pressure and meet deadlines for sales orders or quotes.Communicate clearly in both Afrikaans and English.Influence decision-makers through strong interpersonal skills.Work independently and collaboratively within a team.Travel locally or regionally, often 70% of the week, at company cost.Drive using a valid drivers licence.Organise and manage time efficiently.Use own transport to work daily.Maintain a neat and professional appearance, with work shirts supplied after probation.Please note that only candidates who meet all the requirements will be contacted for the opportunity.
