Business Development Officer (Cape Town)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business development strategy to achieve sales and revenue targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive client engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Assess client financial requirements and present suitable finance solutions
• Promote financial products and services in line with client needs and market demand
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activity on the CRM system
• Provide a high level of customer service to ensure long-term client retention
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Experience within the commercial finance industry is advantageous
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
