The role ensures the stability, performance, and security of all on-premises and virtualised systems, including Hyper-V hosts, Windows Servers, network infrastructure, and the Syspro ERP environment. The incumbent provides technical support to operational teams, resolves system incidents, and contributes to ongoing improvements that enhance warehouse productivity, accuracy, and business continuityKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Server & Virtualisation Management Administer and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V clusters, virtual machines, storage configurations, and failover processes. Monitor VM performance, capacity utilisation, and resource allocation to ensure optimal system availability. Perform regular system patching, OS updates, and hardware diagnostics.Syspro ERP Administration Manage Syspro application servers, SQL database performance, and integrations used across warehouse operations. Support end-users with Syspro issues, transaction errors, and workflow disruptions. Monitor Syspro services, licensing, archiving, and database backups. Coordinate system upgrades, hotfix deployments, and testing.Warehouse Systems Support Oversee IT systems supporting warehousing operations, including handheld scanners, label printers, RF devices, and Wi-Fi connectivity in high-density environments. Troubleshoot connectivity issues that impact picking, receiving, dispatch, and barcode scanning. Ensure uptime of warehouse-critical systems, including WMS modules linked to Syspro.
